Safe Holiday Driving Tips from Key Collision

For many of our customers, this upcoming holiday season will revolve around spending quality time with friends and family members. Since travel is often included in everyone’s seasonal plans, we want to suggest the following tips to ensure you and your loved ones get to and from your celebratory destinations in one piece.

  • Drive rested. As you plan your holiday travels, you probably can’t wait to arrive at your destination, and will want to leave as soon as your schedule allows it, but be mindful of getting enough rest prior to embarking on your drive. Don’t fight sleep while driving.
  • Drive patiently. We would like to think that the holidays bring out the best in people, but in truth, the stress of the holidays can bring out the worst in some drivers. Be patient with other drivers, and don’t be afraid to report erratic driving behavior.
  • Drive responsibly. Whether your trip involves two miles or two hundred, be responsible enough to hand over your keys to a designated driver.

In spite of taking every precaution when traveling on the roads this upcoming holiday season, accidents may still occur, and if they do, remember that Key Collision and Paint Center is standing by to assist you with any of your auto repair needs.
